Mission and Vision

My mission is to help move the 34th District forward. We are on the road to recovery and I am committed to seeing us through by bringing more jobs from diverse industries that will give all residents an opportunity to support their families, addressing funding and literacy in our education system, homelessness and issues that are important to our seniors.

Your Support Matters!

“Our city was built on hard work and continues to thrive on its resilience, and there is no doubt in my mind that the future of Flint is inextricably linked to unity and strong leadership.”

Why I Chose to Run

Watch my announcement video below!

“I chose to stand in front of city hall because of what it represents, it represents a building where the residents voices can be heard and where democracy lives.

Being born in Flint, you’re born with a special kind of grit and a special kind of resilience, it almost feels like you’re bred to lead and to champion causes… so I stand here today, to do what I was born to do and announce my candidacy for the 34th district state representative seat…”

Events & Information

Here you will find current news and information about Candice or any events she will be attending.

Residents should make a living wage. We need more good-paying jobs back in Flint. To get there, companies must value workers – and lawmakers need to do their part to help create an environment that works for all of us.

If we say that we believe that children are our future, we need to equip them with the necessary tools to make a better tomorrow.  We can not afford to take shortcuts when it comes to education.

Most workplaces don’t look the way they used to a generation ago. One big reason for that: More women, including women who have children, are working outside the home now more than ever before, either as dual income earners or as head of the household.

Our workplace policies, on the other hand, have hardly changed at all. When these important policies don’t keep up with the times, it hurts working families all over Flint

Retirement security is a pillar of the American dream. Our seniors have worked hard and deserve to live their golden years in dignity. Now is not the time to turn our backs on them by taxing or taking away their hard earned pensions.

How can we get our city back on track? How to preserve our Constitution and get people value and honor it? All this core questions have been evolving in our minds for years.
